2nd annual Ray’s Run 5K

The 2nd annual Ray’s Run 5K, hosted by Fayetteville Area Operation Inasmuch, has been postponed from  Oct. 1 to Oct. 8. It will be held at Methodist University, 5400 Ramsey St., starting at 8:30 a.m. near the Matthews Ministry Center (Parking Lot J).

City Market at the Museum

The Fayetteville History Museum presents the City Market at the Museum, 325 Franklin St., every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a year-round, open-air market featuring local produce and artisans.

Operation HALYARD

Pet Outreach Program

Tarheel K9 to 5 is collecting donations on Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of a pet outreach program  It is looking for donations of dog food, cat food and limited pet supplies for impoverished, low-income and nomadic communities.
