The All American’s got talent.

That was the result for the 82nd Airborne Division All American Chorus on the “America’s Got Talent” competition show Wednesday night.

The chorus was among two acts chosen to compete in next week’s finals of the NBC show. The results are based on fans’ votes online.

The chorus has become a fan favorite on the show this season with inspiring performances of clever arrangements of pop songs. On Tuesday, it sang “I Am Here,” a hit first recorded by pop singer Pink.

Howie Mandel, one of four celebrity judges on the show, said the chorus’ song choice highlighted the importance of military service.

“You can’t live in this country and be at home as part of who we are and where we are and not love what you just did,” Mandel said Tuesday night. “We are here because you are here. Without you, we couldn’t do what we’re doing. We wouldn’t have the freedom, we wouldn’t have the peace, we wouldn’t have the safety. I can’t thank you enough – for more than your performance – just for being here.”

The 16-member chorus is based at Fort Liberty.
