Cumberland County Animal Services is closed to the public Saturday because of a power outage caused by an incident on Tom Starling Road, according to a county news release.
All the animals at the shelter are safe and secure, the release said.
Adoption and drop-off services will not be available Saturday. The shelter was operating on backup power, the release said.
Residents who have an emergency should call Cumberland County Emergency Services at 910-323-1141 or 911.
Animal Services is expected to be on a normal schedule Monday, the release said.
