An estimated 45 people were displaced after a fire at Stewarts Creek Apartments on Willowbrook Drive on Friday, according to the Fayetteville Fire Department.
The fire was reported about 12:30 p.m. Friday at 6732 Willowbrook Drive, according to a news release.
Firefighters found a three-story apartment building with heavy fire showing through the roof, the news release said. A second alarm brought more units to the scene.
Authorities are investigating the cause.
Damage was estimated at $400,000, the Fire Department said.
No injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross responded to help the victims.
