The Fayetteville Police Department is investigating after a body was found in a field off Murchison Road Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to the 5300 block of Murchison Road around 9:45 a.m. for a report of a body in a field, the Police Department said in a release.
When officers and emergency medical personnel arrived, they found a man’s body, the release said. His identity is being withheld until his family can be identified and notified, the release said.
