City Council names 15 new members of Millennial Advisory Commission

The Fayetteville City Council recently approved 15 people to serve on its Millennial Advisory Commission.

The commission was established to provide the council with input on issues relevant to young professionals and other millennials, according to a city news release. Members are ages 19 to 39.

The City Council recently expanded the commission from 13 members to 30 members to allow for more participation, the news release said.

Meetings are held monthly.

The commission’s executive board is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at The Coffee Scene, 3818 Morganton Road, according to the news release.

The new members of the Millennial Advisory Commission will serve through September 2024. Those approved by the City Council on Nov. 28 are:

  • Ernest Logan III.
  • Fredrick Lowe.
  • Marissa Manning.
  • Zachary McLaurin.

  • Christian Pryer.
  • Yarinel
  • Branda Young.
