City and county offices will be closed on Good Friday, according to news releases.
Cumberland County offices and the court system will be closed, including all library branches and landfills and garbage container sites.
Libraries will close at 6 p.m. Thursday and remain closed through Sunday, a news release said.
Public landfills and container sites will be closed Friday but operate on a normal schedule Saturday.

The Fayetteville Police Department’s main station front lobby and records unit at 467 Hay St. will be closed Friday. Many police reports can be filed or obtained at faypd.com.
Household garbage, yard waste and recycling will be collected on a normal schedule Friday.
Administrative offices at Fayetteville Regional Airport will be closed Friday. Other airport operations will be on a regular schedule.
Fayetteville Area System of Transit will operate on a regular schedule from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. FAST will be closed Sunday resume its regular schedule Monday.
Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation administrative offices will be closed on Friday. Rec centers will be on an abbreviated schedule of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Parks, trails and open green spaces will remain accessible on Friday.
