Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are asking the public for help identifying the subjects in robberies at a Waffle House and a Lowe’s store.

Police released photos of the suspects in a robbery of the Waffle House restaurant in the 2100 block of Cedar Creek Road.

The robbery was reported about 12:45 a.m. Friday, according to a news release. Investigators said two suspects entered the business, brandished a handgun and demanded that the cashier open the cash register. The cashier complied, and one of the suspects removed money from the register. The second suspect demanded money from another employee of the business, and the victim complied.

No other customers or employees were in the business at the time, the news release said. The suspects fled on foot.

Anyone with information about the Waffle House robbery is asked to contact Detective J. Frashure at 910-303-8967.

Detectives also are seeking information about a March 1 robbery outside Lowe’s on Good Middling Drive, according to a news release sent Thursday.

The Lowe’s robbery was reported at 10:30 a.m. March 1. The victim told officers he was approached by a heavy-set woman who got out of a white Chevrolet Tahoe that was parked next to his vehicle, the release said.

A man who was in the driver’s seat of the Tahoe called the victim to the vehicle and grabbed him through the driver-side window while the woman suspect searched the victim’s pockets, the release said. The woman took about $1,200 in cash from the victim.

Anyone with information about the robbery outside Lowe’s is asked to contact Detective S. Berrios at 910-703-6243.
