A Fayetteville man has been charged in the fatal shooting at the Coliseum Inn in April, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said in a release.
Homicide detectives on Friday arrested and charged Damon Javone Ward, 28, in the death Donald Owens, the Sheriff’s Office said. Owens was shot on April 24 at the Coliseum Inn and died April 25, the release said.
Ward was arrested in the Cumberland County Detention Center, where he was in custody on unrelated charges, the release said
He is being held without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center.
His first appearance was Friday at the detention center.
