A months-long narcotics investigation turned up nearly 36 grams of methamphetamine/Fentanyl and more than 360 grams of marijuana at a home on Ginger Circle, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
The investigation was conducted by the Cross Creek District Community Empowerment Response Team (CERT).
A residence in the 6400 block of Ginger Circle was searched, and investigators seized:
Divine Ortiz, 54, was charged with two counts of Level 3 trafficking in Fentanyl; two counts of Level 1 trafficking in methamphetamine; possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana; maintaining a dwelling for drug trafficking; and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Ortiz was held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $225,000 secured bond, the release said.
The Police Department’s Gang Unit, Narcotics/Vice Suppression Unit, and Criminal Investigation Division assisted with the search.
