We are sad to announce the passing of Florence Gale Palazzo Rudolph (nee Hundley) of Supply, North Carolina. She died at age 82 on March 23, 2023, in Charleston, South Carolina, after a brief illness.
Gale was born on May 11, 1940, in Logan, West Virginia, but lived most of her life in Akron, Ohio, moving to Supply for the past 20 years of her life. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Edward J. Palazzo; second husband, Frederick Rudolph;, mother, Frances Lucas; and father, Sim Hundley.
She is survived by her three children, Susan Kramer (husband Fred), James Palazzo (wife Elizabeth), and Mary Ann Palazzo-Sagma,n and her husband, Semih Sagman. She had four grandchildren, Alison and Amber Palazzo and Eda Gail and Elanur Frances Sagman. She is also survived by sisters Virginia Sue Ward, Mary Lou Pullen, and Jean Mullins, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She also leaves behind cherished friends and neighbors.
As per Gale’s request, no funeral or memorial will be held.
