Gardenmania, presented by Cape Fear Valley Health System, is one of the premiere events held at Cape Fear Botanical Garden each year. Rain or shine, Gardenmania will be held this Saturday, May 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is open to the public.
All proceeds go to the garden's educational programs and therapeutic horticulture programs. The event is free to garden members and included in daily admission for non-members. All tickets can be purchased via eventbrite.

Gardenmania features presentations on gardening topics that will interest all levels of gardeners. The keynote speaker, Bryce Lane — former host of the Emmy-winning UNC-TV public television show “In the Garden With Bryce Lane” — will lead a workshop on container gardening. Experience camellia pruning and herb gardening. Make and take your own bird feeder and more.
Sweet Valley Ranch will provide farm animals for a petting zoo. Sustainable Sandhills will be on-site hosting a farmer’s market. Enjoy children's activities, vendors and lots of fun. On-site food trucks will have food and beverages available for purchase.
