Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother Lydia Marie Vermette, age 67, passed away in Fayetteville, NC surrounded by her family on April 13, 2022.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Clifford and Helen Vermette; her sisters, Rose Frainey and Theresa Thomas; her brothers, Frederick, Clifford, Joseph, John Vermette and Donald Armstong. Along with her son, Thomas Voisine.
She is survived by husband her of 30 years, Scott Dale, who she loved more than life; daughter, Brandy Renkel and son in law, David Renkel of Fayetteville, NC; daughter, Rose Henderson of Holden, Massachusetts and April Voisine of Ludlow, Massachusetts and her son, Michael Hodges of Fort Worth Texas; her grandchildren, Tony Vermette and wife, Paige Vermette, Dale Vermette, Lydia Beskalo and wife, Jasmine Beskalo, Lydia, Chad, Mike and Des Henderson, Marcelino and Conor Voisine, and Logan, Braden, Maya, Noemi and Michael Hodges; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Aralyn, Jaxson, AnnaMarie, Liza Marie, Sophia, Joshua, Symphony Marie, Mystique Maria, Harmony, and Chance. She is also Survived by her brother, George Vermette of Arizona.
Lydia was a longtime resident of Shirley, Massachusetts and recently moved to North Carolina to be with her daughter and her grandchildren. Lydia was a loving and caring woman, she was fiercely devoted to her family and loved them with all her heart and soul. She was funny and had no problem cracking a joke. In her last years she was confined to a wheelchair, but it did not stop her from living life. She loved music, flowers and birds and giving her family crap.
Her Family will deeply miss her forever.
A funeral service will be held at 2 Pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Rogers and Breece Chapel with Father Mike officiating. The family will greet friends prior the service at 12 to 1:45 Pm.
