Man charged in April 16 shooting death on King Charles Road, officials say

A man is charged with murder in a shooting death on King Charles Road on April 16, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

Glenn Richard Tedder II, 35, was arrested Thursday and charged with first-degree murder in the death of Timothy Shannon, 33, in a shooting in the 3300 block of King Charles Road.

Tedder also faces charges of larceny of a motor vehicle; three counts of habitual larceny; three counts of possession of stolen goods; and three counts of conspiracy.

He was arrested in a joint operation by the Sheriff’s Office, the Fayetteville Police Department, and the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation, the release said.
