Michael Lynn Bates, 51, of Fayetteville passed away on September 28, 2022.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Bates, Sr.; mother, Vickie Bates; and brother, Thomas Bates, Jr. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brother, Rickey Bates (Donna); sister, Sherry Bates Fluton; six nieces, one nephew, four great nieces and his seven great nephews.
A visitation will be held at 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in St. Pauls, NC with Pastor Tim Grinder officiating.
