A meet-and-greet is scheduled for North Carolina Poet Laureate Jaki Shelton Green on Thursday evening at City Center Gallery & Books, according to a news release.
Jaki Shelton Green, who is in Fayetteville to lead a poetry workshop for high school students, will be at the bookstore from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Green was appointed poet laureate of North Carolina in 2018. She has published eight collections of poetry. Some of her poems have been choreographed by several dance companies.
