Cumberland County will have seven locations for one-stop early voting ahead of the May 17 primary election, the county Board of Elections said.
Early voting starts April 28 and continues through May 14. Residents may register and vote at any one-stop early voting location.
The weekday and weekend dates and hours for early voting are: April 28-29, 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; April 30, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and May 1, 2 to 5 p.m.
After May 1, early voting will only be held weekdays from 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m with the exception of May 14, a Saturday and the last day of early voting for the primary election. Hours that day are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If no candidate reaches the total necessary to become the nominee in a contest on the ballot in the May primary, a second primary may be held July 26. The Fayetteville general election will be held July 26.
