Fayetteville police are investigating a shooting Thursday that left one man dead and another seriously injured.
Officers responded to a reported shooting at 6:17 p.m. on the 4600 block of Fen Court, the Police Department said in a release.
Officers and medical personnel found two men who had been shot. Both were taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. One of the men died as a result of his injuries, police said. Their names are not being released pending the notification of their families.
