William Albert Norris, 81, of Bunnlevel, passed away Monday December 5, 2022 at his residence.
William was born to the late William Luther Norris and Mabel Barefoot Norris. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Pansy Norris; sister, Faye McCartan and grandson, T. J. Wade.
William is survived by his wife of 57 years, Willa Blackman; daughters Pamela Norris Wade and Patricia Norris Everette; son-in-law, Mark Everette; grandchildren, William Justin Wade and Seth Stone, Kaitlin Everette Butler (Cody), Kristin Everette, Sarah Gilfillan (Will) and Briana Wieking; five great-grandchildren and his Maltipoo fur baby Roxie. He will be missed terribly.
William was an avid deer hunter that loved his hunting dogs and listening on the CB with local hunters. He lived his life the way he wanted with a straight forward and said what he thought attitude. His family believes that his grandkids were the love that truly mellowed him out. He worked hard to take care of his family as a construction foreman for many years.
A visitation will be held at Adcock Funeral Home on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm at Westview Cemetery in Lillington NC with Pastor Floyd Benfield officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Hospice, 1231 N Main Street, Lillington, N.C. 27546.
