Zombies to take to the streets of downtown Fayetteville

12th annual walk brings music, food and fun for Halloween

You can’t keep a good zombie down.

They’re back for the 12th annual Zombie Walk and Prom on Friday evening in downtown Fayetteville.

The undead will roam the streets from 6 to 10 p.m., according to a news release from Cool Spring Downtown District.

The walk is free and family-friendly, the downtown booster organization says.

Participants are invited to come in zombie costume and join the processional from Hay to Person streets. Paul Mitchell the School of Fayetteville will provide face painting during the Zombie Pre-Party.

Muscle cars from I-95 Muscle will lead the Zombie Walk.

Live entertainment will include Lotus Sun and the Living Dead playing rock ’n’ roll and Nirvani, a Nirvana cover band, the news release said.

Food trucks and vendors will be open.

Rocky Horror Singalong Trolley

Also on Friday, you can do the Time Warp again with Dr. Scott, Janet, Brad and Rocky will lead the Rocky Horror Singalong Trolley at 7 and 8 p.m. aboard the District Trolley.

The trolley will depart from Gaston Taproom, 421 Chicago Drive.

Tickets are $30 each and are available at Eventbrite.com.
