19-year-old Hope Mills woman shot dead at Bragg Boulevard gas station

A 19-year-old Hope Mills woman was found shot to death early Monday in the parking lot of a gas station on Bragg Boulevard, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

The shooting was reported about 1:30 a.m. Monday at a Valero station in the 800 block of Bragg Boulevard, according to a news release.

Investigators identified her as Danielle Claire Golcher, 19, of Hope Mills.

Golcher was pronounced dead at the scene, the release said.

A man who was injured in the shooting went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the release said.

Police said the shooting does not appear to be a random incident.
