Carroll Chester Pearson departed this life on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at First Health Moore Reginal Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.

Carroll resided in Fayetteville, NC. Carroll was born in Washington, DC to the late Chester and Leola Pearson who preceded him in death, a brother, Dwight Pearson who also preceded him in death.

Carroll served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. His hobbies consist of hunting, raising his chickens, gardening, watching football- his favorite team was the Washington Redskins, he also coached basketball in his earlier years for the youth league. Carroll’s greatest passion was preaching, teaching, and prophesying whatever God gave him to give to the people. Carroll Ministry Word of Life interfaith was pastored by Carroll Pearson over 32 years up to his passing, he was an encouragement to everyone he met. He also had a great passion for our youth.

Carroll leaves to cherish his memories his 3 sons, Todd Curtis Pearson of Fayetteville, NC, Corey Parneel Pearson (Marion) of Phoenix, AZ, and David Anthony Pearson (Porche) of Wichita Falls, TX; nine grandchildren, James Malachi, Alyssa Marie, Jacquez Azanioch, Paris Davon, Peyton Darius, Deja Monay, Nia McKenzie Elise, Noala Jacoby, and Malachi Nathaniel; 4 brothers, Calvin Pearson (Gwen) of Fayetteville, Gregory Pearson (Jeannie) of Fredericksburg, VA, Anthony Pearson (Michelle) of Woodbridge, VA, and Burnette Pearson (Caroline) of Falls Church, VA; 3 sisters, Patricia Cale of Alexandria, VA, Novella Tolliver (T.C.) of Neptune, NJ, and Carol Ann Bowles of Sterling, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends and special friend, Evangelist Ethel Clack, and his adopted grands of Fayetteville, NC.

A Visitation will be held at 11 to 12 PM at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home on Monday, August 1, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held at 12 PM in the Rogers and Breece Chapel with Pastor Daniel McMillian officiating. Burial to follow the service at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.

Carroll will be deeply missed by all.
