Deborah Kay Ditmore, 66, went to her heavenly home on March 27, 2024, while at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances McBrayer; her father, Lawrence McBrayer; and her brother, Gerald McBrayer. She was survived by her husband of 43 years, Al Ditmore; her son, Eric Ditmore and his wife, Jennifer Ditmore; her daughter, Sharley Ditmore; her grandchildren, Aiden, Rylan and Easton Ditmore; her siblings, Pam McIntosh and husband, Paul, Becky Malone, Teresa Smith and husband, Les, Judy Evans and husband, Dale, Bonnie Ford and husband, Kenneth, Betty June Adams and husband, Jay, Mack Keith McBrayer, Susie Lund and husband, Bob, and Terry McBrayer and wife, Lisa.

Deborah, or Debbie as she preferred, was born in Hamilton, Missouri. She was raised in a home with many siblings whom she remained close to her entire life. As a young adult she followed her faith to the east coast where she met her husband, who affectionately called her Debbo. She became an amazing mother, teacher, and later in life, the best grandmother a kid could wish for. She cared deeply for her family, loved ones, and any person in need that crossed her path. She always had an open heart, open door, and open kitchen table. She will leave a void that can only be filled by the God she had so much faith in!

Her services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home located at 500 Ramsey St. Fayetteville, NC 28301. Visitation will be from 1-1:45 pm and a celebration service will be held from 2-3 pm.
