The Cumberland County Republican Party and Cumberland County Democratic Party have opened campaign offices in Fayetteville for the 2024 election cycle.
The offices provide a base of operations for the two parties locally as they support their candidates in the local, state and national elections. Historically, the Cumberland County political party offices have not been permanent. They typically open when there are statewide elections, such as for governor, U.S. Senate or president, then close until the next cycle.
The GOP office is in the Pythian Building at 210 E. Russell St. in Fayetteville.
Hours at the Republican office are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturday, party Chairperson Nina Morton said. These hours will expand in April, she said.
The Democratic Party HQ is in a small office building at 5330 Raeford Road, across from O’Reilly Auto Parts.
The Democrats’ office hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, Democratic Chairperson Derrick Montgomery said.
