Edna Louise "Mrs. C" Crumpler

Surrounded by love Edna Louise Crumpler, (Mrs “ C”)  89, was called home to be with her heavenly father, Jesus Christ on 20 May, 2022, after a long battle with Dementia.  She was born 2 November, 1932.  Edna was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, Charles Crumpler, Jr, her mother Mamie Maultsby, Father, Vernon Maultsby brothers, Renus and Harold Maultsby, sister, Shirley Beasley, granddaughter Candace Crumpler, as well as many other family members.

With a tax refund of $375, C & C Top Shop, Inc., established in 1972 and has grown into one of Carolina’s leading Aftermarket Restyling Shops. She, along with her son, Charles Crumpler III, have continued the successful business since 2005.  A faithful Christian, she was a member of Northside Pentecostal Church, Fayetteville, NC and loved leading children into Bible knowledge as their Sunday School Teacher.  She loved gardening, sewing, and many days could be found baking biscuits for the boys at C & C top Shop, her extended family.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Linda Poor and husband Joel Poor of Fayetteville; Carolyn Faircloth of Hope Mills; Charles Crumpler III and Sonja Crumpler of Fayetteville; Five grandchildren, Allen Raynor, Denise (Crickett) Cimaglia Brewer, Deanna Honeycutt Fulcher and husband Louis, Danny (DJ) Honeycutt, Charles Crumpler IV,  8 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

While she will be dearly missed, her family is overjoyed by the knowledge that she is now with her heavenly father and her beloved husband Charlie (Mr. “C”).   Her life was a blessing, and her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

A memorial service will be held 12 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Crumpler, III officiating.  The family will greet friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:45 am.  

In celebration of her win over Dementia, memorials may be made to Cape Fear Valley Hospice,  2301 Robeson St, Suite 202, Fayetteville, NC 28305 or Northside Pentecostal Church 5000 Arbor Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28311.

The family would like to thank those who have offered their love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.  A special thanks to Cape Fear Valley Hospice and the around the clock caregivers who so lovingly took care of our mom, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend.
