Mrs. Elizabeth Hall Player, 83, of Fayetteville, NC, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, at McLeod Health Seacoast Hospital, Little River, SC.
Elizabeth was born March 9, 1939, in Cumberland County, NC, to the late James Allen Hall and Mary Lucille McInnis. She was a homemaker.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 59 years, Henry C. Player Jr.; daughter, Meredith Player Stiehl and husband, the Honorable Robert J. Stiehl III; two grandchildren, Kenan Elizabeth Stiehl and Barrett Carlton Stiehl; brother, James Allen Hall Jr. and wife, Brenda, and their children, Jessica Curry and Jamie Hall; brother-in-law, Lonnie M. Player Sr. and wife Kaye; nephew, Lonnie M. Player Jr. and wife, Dana; several out-of-town nieces and nephews; and six cousins, Ferrol Edmondson and wife, Anita; Terry Edmondson and wife, Kitty,; Tom McInnis and wife, Cathy; Dan McInnis; Don Perkins and wife, Kellie; and Frank Perkins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
