Mr. Francis O. Wilbur, 85, of Raeford, formerly of upstate New York, passed away on May 1, 2024.
Francis worked primarily as a truck driver throughout his career. He was an avid race fan and driver. He had his own race car and loved racing all throughout the central NY area.
He is survived by children, Russell O. Wilbur, Christine Bliss, Tammie Malone and Brian Wilbur; step-daughters, Stephanie Paul and Julie Katz; lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and three brothers, Keith, Pete, and John.
Francis was preceded in death by daughter, Lisa Pierce; and wife, Alice Konkol-Wilbur.
The family will hold a private service at a later date in New York.
