Metronet truck bringing free ice cream to Fayetteville neighborhoods

Posted

Metronet is handing out free ice cream in neighborhoods across Fayetteville.

The internet service provider is sponsoring a branded truck that will be popping up all over town delivering free ice cream to help beat the summer heat, according to a Metronet spokeswoman.

The truck will be circulating between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday as well as July 12-16.

There is no specific schedule for where the truck will be, but residents are encouraged to watch for it and take advantage of the free offer.
