We can’t wait to connect again both inside and outside the concert hall for our 2023-24 concert season. The lineup includes seven season concerts, four free-admission community concerts, and several free-admission Symphony on Tap events at local breweries and restaurants.

Spooktacular - October 28, 2023 | 7:30 p.m., Seabrook Auditorium
Werewolves howl. Phantoms prowl. Halloween's *almost* upon us now. Dress in costume -- from witches to superheroes. We invite you to celebrate early with us on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Seabrook Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Experience spooky selections from nostalgic classics like "Superman," "Batman," "Ghostbusters," "The Incredibles," "Hook," and more. There will be a spooky photo booth and incredible giveaways from The Sweet Palette bakery, Triangle Rock Club, and more.
Four Seasons - November 18, 2023 | 7:30 p.m., St. John’s Episcopal
Join us in the intimate setting of St. John’s Episcopal Church as our incredible concertmaster, Fabian Lopez, takes you on a journey through Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons,” among other selections.
Holiday Pops - December 9, 2023 | 7:30 p.m., Seabrook Auditorium
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Due to popular demand, we are excited to present a holiday program this December in collaboration with Cumberland Choral Arts. The program will feature favorite holiday songs and masterpieces by composers such as Eric Whitacre, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and John Williams. This concert will take you on an artistic journey through holiday music.
A Strings Serenade - January 20, 2024 | 7:30 p.m., Friendship Missionary Baptist Church
Fayetteville native, violinist, and author Brendan Slocumb will join us for a special string orchestra performance at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Patrons can look forward to hearing selections from renowned BIPOC composers such as Florence Price, Jessie Montgomery, and Daniel Bernard Roumain. Also featured on this program is Vivaldi’s “Concerto for 4 Violins” and Tchaikovsky’s “Serenade for Strings.”
Blazin’ Brass - March 9, 2024 | 7:30 p.m., Haymount United Methodist Church
The sounds of our mighty brass and percussion sections will fill the air at Haymount United Methodist Church. Featured pieces include Ottorino Respighi’s “Ancient Airs and Dances Suite” and Eric Ewazen’s “Symphony in Brass.”
Music of Appalachia - April 20, 2024 | 7:30 p.m., Seabrook Auditorium
We are thrilled to welcome the Kruger Brothers to Fayetteville to perform alongside FSO for this special program! You can expect to hear bluegrass music alongside classical masterpieces such as Copland’s "Appalachian Spring" in this exciting and collaborative program. Bad to the Bones - May 11, 2024 | 7:30 p.m., Seabrook Auditorium
You won’t want to miss our season closer with special guest Joseph Alessi, the principal trombonist of the New York Philharmonic. Alessi is a Grammy Award-winning musician who has performed with orchestras all over the world, and we are honored that he has chosen to share his talents with our Fayetteville community.

The free admission community concerts will include Nosferatu on Fort Liberty at Iron Mike’s Conference Center and at Dirtbag Ales, the Snowman, Handel's Messiah at Berean Baptist Church, a side-by-side performance with Fayetteville Symphony Youth Orchestra, and our annual Independence Day concert at Festival Park in July. Our Symphony on Tap series has returned! The goal is to engage our community through music and beer. Admission to these events is free, and they are sure to be lots of fun.
