Update: Fayetteville police ID people involved in fatal crash on Gillis Hill Road

A teenager died and three people were critically injured, police say.

One person died and three others were critically injured in a vehicle crash on Gillis Hill Road Wednesday afternoon, the Fayetteville Police Department said.

Officers responded to the crash, which involved three vehicles, around 3:45 p.m.

Keyana Snow, 35, of the 2000 block of Bain Drive, was operating a 2005 Ford Expedition traveling south on Gillis Hill Road. A 17-year-old male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, police said in a release Thursday. His name was not released.

Dylan McLaughlin, 25, of Rockingham, was operating a 2019 Dodge Charger traveling north on Gillis Hill Road. Bethany Tolson, 24, and Raibeon Golden, 30, were passengers in the Dodge Charger. All three were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

Melissa McAllister, 50, of the 6000 block of Burgenfield Drive, was operating a 2018 Cadillac Escalade. She was treated for her injuries at the scene, police said.

Police said they are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. 

Part of Gillis Hill Road was temporarily closed Wednesday.
