Leonard B. Melton III, 75, of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022.
Leonard is survived by his beloved wife, Janice Melton of the home and his son, Leonard B. Melton IV of Eastern PA.
An officer and gentleman with the US Military receiving many awards for his honorable service including Army Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Parachute Badge, Drill Sergeant Medal and many more.
A Private Graveside Service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society, PO Box 58195 Fayetteville, NC 28305.
