Most Cumberland County schools rescheduled Friday night’s games to Thursday because of the threat of stormy weather caused by Tropical Storm Ophelia.

Most Cumberland County schools rescheduled Friday night’s games to Thursday because of the threat of stormy weather caused by Tropical Storm Ophelia.
In addition, two games that remained on Friday’s schedule were postponed.
- Overhills will play at E.E. Smith at 7 p.m. Monday.
- Pine Forest and Western Harnett will play at 6 p.m. Monday.
Here are the results of Thursday’s games:
- Terry Sanford 38, Triton 20
- Seventy-First 55, Gray’s Creek 7
- Jack Britt 49, Lumberton 8
- Harnett Central 20, Westover 14 OT
- Cape Fear 36, Purnell Swett 14
- South View 44, Douglas Byrd 14
