Becca Slade, Gray’s Creek, tennis: Slade won her singles match against Seventy-First by a score of 6-1, 6-0. In doubles, she teamed with her partner to record an 8-0 win. For the young season, Slade is 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles.
Cashyon Foster, Westover, football: Foster recorded 13 tackles, eight of them for losses, and also had three sacks and a pass interception in helping lead the Wolverines to a 40-6 win over Smithfield-Selma. Westover is 2-0 on the season.
